  1. Al, I really enjoyed your lesson! It was both engaging and interactive. I was a little confused at first as to what exactly I was supposed to be saying, but I learned quickly (or maybe it's just me- History is not my strong point). You can tell you know what you are talking about! The pictures in the background were interesting and added a nice touch. Towards the end, I really started to understand the concept and the reason why the countries involved couldn't come to an agreement! (their viewpoints were just so different).

I don't really have much criticism to give. I would just say that you should try and limit what you write in your PowerPoint slides. They are a little bulky, and naturally, we want to read it! The more we are reading, the less we are listening to you. You know your stuff! If you put just the main points, you can elaborate on them yourself (that way the slides aren't saying it all for you).

Other than that, you really did an awesome job! Keep up the good work.

  2. Al, I absolutely loved your lesson. I really enjoyed that you let us get into the minds of the people trying to work out the treaty. After I got over my initial nerves, I got to be creative and pretend to be someone else. The way you presented the material was interesting as well. I loved the slides that were being shown as we were debating for our respective countries. Seriously, you did a fantastic job--you seemed so comfortable and knowledgeable. I had such a good time. :)

  3. Al I really liked your lesson! It was fun being able to take the role of a country and battle it out without one another.

  4. Al, great job on the project! I thought it was very inventive and engaging. I know you wished that there were more students to do your activity with, but I think it still worked well with the numbers we had. As a student, it forced us to think about the needs of that country and really drove home your point. Nice job!
